The Fieldco Story


Fieldco Foods is a family owned and operated business situated in the Kaipara near Dargaville – ‘The Kumara Capital of New Zealand’, and undoubtedly the most ideal micro-climate for Kumara growing in New Zealand.

The Fieldco Foods Team have been involved in supplying the consumer with quality produce on their plates since 1976. With a combined growing experience of nearly 100 years, you might say we know our kumara!  Now with the third generation of the Simpkin family managing the company we are even more ready to adapt to the need of our consumer customers.

Here at Fieldco we are involved with the whole process of Kumara production from seed and field selection, plant propagation, seedling transplanting, growing, harvesting, storage, washing, packing and distribution to our customers.
