Beef & Kumara Tetrazzini


1kg of porterhouse steak (or any other steak)
4 kumara, sliced
3 potatoes, large diced
2 carrots, sliced in rounds
1 dsp ‘Brown Rice miso’
1 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp tomato sauce



Put 4 cups of hot water into a casserole dish.
Add the rice miso and whisk until blended.
Add soy sauce and tomato sauce.
Add the steak, kumara, potatoes and carrots.
Place lid on and put into oven at 170°C for 2-3 hours or until meat is tender.

Remove from oven and thicken with 1/4 cup water and 2 Tbsp corn flour mixed together.

Place in a hot oven again and when boiling, remove from oven and add salt to taste.

Serves 4
